Overview #

The Ultra Addons Zapier Integration for WPForms allows you to seamlessly connect your form submissions to over 5,000+ apps through Zapier. Whether you want to send leads to your CRM, update spreadsheets, trigger emails, create tasks, send Slack messages, or automate multi-step workflows—this addon makes everything possible without writing a single line of code.

Use this addon for newsletter sign-ups, contact forms, booking forms, lead generation forms, order processes, surveys, and any workflow that requires automation across multiple platforms.


🛠️ Getting Started #

1. Install & Activate the Addon #

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New.
  3. Upload the Ultra Addons WPForms Zapier Integration ZIP file.
  4. Click Install, then Activate.

2. Connect Your Zapier Account #

To enable automation, you must connect WPForms to Zapier:

  1. Navigate to WPForms → Settings → Integrations.
  2. Locate Ultra Addons – Zapier.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Copy your unique Zapier Webhook URL from your Zap setup.
  5. Paste it into the integration field inside WPForms.

Your site is now linked with Zapier.


3. Create Your Zap in Zapier #

Before enabling automation:

  1. Log in to your Zapier account.
  2. Click Create Zap.
  3. Choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger.
  4. Select Catch Hook.
  5. Copy the generated webhook URL.
  6. Add one or more actions (e.g., Google Sheets → Slack → Gmail).

This Zap will run every time your form is submitted.


4. Enable Zapier for a WPForm #

  1. Go to WPForms → All Forms.
  2. Open the form you want to connect.
  3. Navigate to Settings → Ultra Addons Zapier.
  4. Toggle Enable Zapier Integration.
  5. Paste the webhook URL created in Zapier.
  6. Map your WPForms fields to Zapier fields.
  7. (Optional) Add conditional rules to control when data is sent.

5. Save & Test the Integration #

To verify everything is working:

  1. Save your form settings.
  2. Submit a test entry from the frontend.
  3. Return to Zapier and click Test Trigger.
  4. Confirm that the submission data appears.
  5. Check your connected apps (Google Sheets, Slack, etc.) to ensure actions are firing.

If the data appears correctly, your automation is live.

Form data not reaching Zapier

  • Review Zapier action steps for errors.
  • Ensure connected apps have proper permissions.

Conditional logic not working

  • Confirm your conditions match the form field data exactly.
  • Remove conditions temporarily to test the flow.

Duplicate data issues

  • Ensure no multiple Zaps are using the same webhook URL.
  • Check whether WPForms is running multiple confirmation events.
